Good day,

 

My name is John S. Beddows.  I am the son of John George Beddows of North Bay, Ontario, who many of may have known prior to his passing in 2017.  He was a presence in the Canadian philatelic community through the course of his over 50 years as a stamp dealer serving the needs of collectors in Canada and beyond.  I had the privilege and pleasure to grow up in the stamp business, and many of my fondest memories are of travelling to shows and bourses with my father.

This e-mail is part of my effort to introduce myself the to philatelic community at a time when shows and bourses are cancelled or deferred as a result of COVID-19. 

 

I carry a stock of good Canada, BNA, UK, Commonwealth, USA and a little world as well as accumulations and collections.

I am planning future lists with specific focus on collecting areas such as:  square circle cancels, Jubilees, Classic Great Britain, Canada rates to Germany – 1950 through 1975, world wide postal history, Canada booklets and booklet panes, British North America, USA and more! 

 

 

I plan to include some assortments, collections and accumulations in all of my future offerings.

 

    

I would ask collectors to reply to me directly, and I will add their email addresses to my mail list.  I look forward to hearing from you, and also to meeting in person once shows start up again.
